Program Code: Pending State Board Approval

The Associate of Science in Social Sciences with a Social Work major prepares students to transfer to a four-year institution with the fundamentals of human services, sociology, and other related disciplines. Through this program, students will gain a general understanding of social work and will be able to connect the theoretical and conceptual contributions of the classroom to the practical setting.

To satisfy the Humanities requirement, courses must be selected from Literature and Creative Writing or Artistic Expression. Students should consult with an academic advisor or counselor to choose the appropriate course(s).
