AUT 252 - Automotive Drivetrains
Credits: 5
Presents the operation, design, diagnosis, and repair of manual, automatic transmissions, and final drive systems, for both front and rear drive vehicles. Covers clutches, synchronizers, torque converters, differentials, drive axles, U-joints, CV joints, 4-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive systems. Includes preparation for ASE Tests A2 & A3.
Prerequisite: AUT 149
Lecture 2 hours.
Laboratory 6 hours.
