Accounting Technician, Career Studies Certificate

The Career Studies Certificate in Accounting Technician prepares students to keep a basic set of accounting books and offers two separate tracks. Students in the traditional track will qualify for entry-level positions in accounting, bookkeeping, and tax. Students in the Accounting Information Systems with Data Analytics track will gain a working knowledge of information systems, controls, and data analytics to bridge the gap between information technology and accounting. This AIS DA track is ideal for students looking for an introduction to accounting or changing careers but not interested in a CPA
track.
