Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is an advanced practice area of Radiography. The one year Career Studies Certificate in MRI requires 24 hours of clinical practice in each of three semesters beginning each fall, and provides registered radiographers, radiation therapists, and nuclear medicine technologists the opportunity to acquire the competencies and skills necessary to earn certification in MRI through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). All didactic coursework is delivered asynchronously online. Applying to the college does not guarantee admission to the MRI certificate program, and applications are due May 31.
