The Career Studies Certificate in Government Accountant prepares students to meet the requirements of the GS 0510 Accountant series. Students who complete the program will qualify for entry-level and mid-level positions in accounting. This Career Studies Certificate is ideal for government employees who possess an undergraduate degree or have some experience working in accounting. Students need access to a computer and in some cases, accounting software, as required by the professor.
