ETR 173 - Wind Turbine Operations Lab
Credits: 2
Provides hands-on training on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a commercial wind turbine using a wind turbine trainer. Examines how to optimize turbine blade pitch angle and rotational speed to maximize energy generation.
Prerequisite: ELE 178, ELE 233 and MEC 268. Corequisite: ETR 170.
Laboratory 4 hours.
